  10. Since I needed it, and the support for windows-nt versions of libtiff
  11. is sketchy at best, I packaged up my port of libtiff v3.4beta024 
  12. to windows-nt.

  16. this contains "libtiff.mak", a makefile for microsoft visual c++,
  17. a couple of hand-built .h and .c files (corresponding to those which
  18. are automatically constructed by unix makefiles) and static libraries
  19. compiled for intel and dec alpha.

  21. As customary, I make no claims regarding the completeness or
  22. correctness of these libraries, and accept no responsibily for any
  23. mishaps you may have as a result of using them.  They work for me.

  25. I hope Sam will copy and incorporate this into the "contrib" section
  26. of the next libtiff release.
